"Ciao Francesco, come va? E tua madre come sta?"
Why did I use 'come va' e 'come sta'? What is the respective meaning?

come va is asking how are you doing while come sta is asking how are you.
ReplyDelete'come va' means "how is it going", practically question that's more of a familiar greeting. While 'come sta' means "how are you", more of question that is asked between people that are meeting.
